Participants need a referral from the North Shore office of Community Living BC (CLBC) in order to access Day Programs.
Amity/ARC offers 3 areas of programming to meet individual interests and goals.
1. Vocational or employment training and activities for those who have identified that they would like to become employed. Opportunities in this area include:
2. Recreation and Education activities for those who determine that they would like to become more involved in their community. Individuals can choose from the following:

3. Leisure activities for those who seek social opportunities and sedentary programs.
Social activities such as:
Wellness activities like the senior's exercise programs, diet and health presentations.
There are 9 day programs within DTC Options and Community Ventures. Each program caters to the specific needs, skills and interests of the participants.
Some of these programs support individuals with complex needs. These programs focus on lifeskills training and community based recreational or leisure activities.
Others programs assist participants with vocational skills development, work experience and the chance to be involved in paid group work activities.
A highlight in this group is the "Incredible Muffin Company". Operating out of the Harry Jerome Recreation Centre in North Vancouver, this program has been managing a concession stand since 1992.
