Program Description

The Summit is an exciting and supportive place for individuals with a developmental disability to go and participate in programs that supports their needs.

Participation is by membership for a small fee. Members help us to decide what programs we will offer and what resources are available. Our current programs service children, youth, adults and seniors with developmental disabilities, and support their families and caregivers.

Our programs are recreational and educational. They enhance social, physical, and life skills. The types of programs we offer include:

• Art and Music
• Cooking and Baking
• Social and Life Skills
• Sport and Fitness
• Youth Specific (Avengers)
• Seniors Specific (55 years +)
• Weekend and Evening Community Outings
• Supported Volunteer Work

When we are open

The Summit offers programs 7 days a week. However some programs operate away from the centre so the centre may not be open at those times.:

Program Hours:

8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
Variable hours, Evenings and Weekends

Snoezelen Hours:

9:00am to 4:00pm, Wednesday to Friday
9:00am to 7:00pm, Monday and Tuesday
